Standard worksurface finishes are designer white or almond thermofoil. Custom colors and finishes are available but may affect price and lead time. Powder coating, laminate, and thermofoil are all possible.

Keyboard Tray

Some StableRise fixed surface models are KBtray compatible to provide extra work space. Pull & Swivel surfaces cannot be configured with a standard tray, but some customers have used clamp-on trays as an option.

StableRise configuration pricing for complete systems starts at under $1000 for the enduser making it comparably priced to most wall track systems.

Shroud Style

Simple Hanging Shroud (Standard)

The standard shroud for StableRise is 12” across x 8.5” deep x 19” tall. It has 2 keyholes that allow it to easily mount and hang off the upper mount bracket, It fits snugly around the column to prevent dust buildup and provides a single port thru which any wires and cables can pass. It is large enough to house a  small power strip and a thin client.

Larger Hinged Shroud (Option)

With 20% more volume, its large enough to hide outlets, support a surge protector and store a thin client. A mesh floor for airflow, dual cordage ports with a cover plate, and locking capability, the new shroud helps create a more functional and cleaner-looking exam room workstation.

Monitor Arm

Single Arm

StableRise monitor arms can handle monitors from 6.5 – 18 lbs and provide 12” of independent height adjustment. Each single arm has a 180◦ rotational range limiter to prevent contact with the walls. Arms require monitors with VESA mount compatibility. Monitor wires can managed thru the built-in clips on the dynamic upper arm, and sleeve of the fixed angle lower arm. Available colors include White, Grey and Black.

Dual Arm

StableRise dual monitor arms branch out from a tee originating at a common base mount and provide independent movement for each monitor. One monitor can be shared with the patient while the other is angled toward the clinician. Weight capacity of each arm is  6.5 – 18 lbs and the arms provide 12” of independent height adjustment. Maximum width of the monitors is 24”. Arms require monitors with VESA mount compatibility. Monitor wires can managed thru the built-in clips on the dynamic upper arm, and sleeve of the fixed angle lower arm.  Available colors are White, Grey or Black

Other Arm

You may elect to use a different monitor arm other than one provided by StableRise as long as it has a grommet mount capability and its mounting bolt is less than ½” in diameter. Possible rationale for choosing your own arm:

  • Facility has an established standard arm chosen by IT dept or purchasing dept.
  • Need a heavy-duty arm for a large monitor or all- in-one CPU
  • Cross-bar desired for a 2-monitor configuration

No Arm

A monitor arm is not required for StableRise. You may simply be using a laptop for your note taking and screen. Ergonomically this is not ideal, as you should always have an external keyboard and mouse when using a laptop in addition to an external monitor to avoid developing MSDs and eye fatigue, respectively.

Accessory Shelf

As medical clinics have added more peripheral equipment to their exam room workstations, there was great need for a place to set and organize them, connect them to the IT solution and deal with the wires.  Peripheral equipment we have seen on a medical workstation include:

  • Keyboard & Mouse
  • Barcode Scanner
  • CD-ROM for Imaging data input
  • Printers (large & small)
  • Digital signature pad capture
  • ID badge scanner
  • Phone
  • Laptop docking station
  • Laptop or thin client computer
  • Dictaphone

Additional items may include pens, prescription pads, paper clips, coffee cup etc, so there is always a shortage of space. The accessory shelf creates highly functional, usable space.

The accessory shelf is only available for pull & swivel models of StableRise and will be finished in the same material as the pull & swivel worksurface.

Keyboard Tray

Worksurfaces without the pull & swivel option also have the need for additional space, and one way to create that space is by adding an undermount keyboard tray.  The tray fully retracts under the work surface and provides a 10×26 surface for the keyboard and mouse.

The tray surface would be finished in the same material as the main worksurface.

Worksurface Finishes

StableRise now uses color-matched 3D laminate (aka thermofoil) tops as its standard worksurface coating.  Not all thermofoil tops are created equal, and StableRise uses only the highest quality 3D laminate thermofoils for superior durability and cleanability. All thermofoils used (standard and custom options) are approved for horizontal use and cleanability protocols & products in accordance with standard healthcare practice.
